This set contains applications that allow batch editing the metadata (EXIF, IPTC, XMP or other types of image tags) of multiple pictures at once. They allow editing metadata for different types of photos, may they be JPEG, TIFF or other kinds.
These programs can help you with what you're intending to do:
A-PDF Photo Exif Editor shows you all the EXIF and IPTC tags stored in your JPEG and TIFF images. EXIF tags provide you with useful information about where and how a particular photograph was taken, and this program will help you to keep that information accurate and complete. You can change any of the existing values, delete some of them, and even erase all EXIF tags at once.
Exifer is a small free tool that will help you to back up and restore the metadata automatically embedded in JPEG images by many digital cameras. This information (known as EXIF tags) usually disappears when you process and save your digital photos using an image processing tool. Exifer can also read IPTC metadata from both JPEG and TIFF image files.
Digital Image Tool will allow you to make changes to batches of photos, which is undoubtedly its main advantage over other image editors. In this regard, it will allow you to perform batch operations like resizing, tagging, renaming and adding watermarks to images.
EXIFeditor is free software from kiwi.software.NET that allows you to edit every EXIF tags within your digital photos very easily and quickly. You can edit all the information such as date, description, camera model, author and all other related data. It is a portable software with a very simple interface and it is very easy to use.
ExifTool GUI is a (free) Graphical User Interface for an already existing EXIF editor called ExifTool, developed by Phil Harvey, a full-featured - command-line - utility. The interface shows and lets you edit you not only the longest list of EXIF tags I have seen so far, but also those IPTC and XMP tags that are most commonly used.
BetterJPEG is a JPEG editor specifically designed to avoid recompression loss when editing and resaving photos. Rotation, flip, crop, red eye removal, date/text/EXIF data imprint and more. Batch processing of images.
