This set of freeware applications allows you you make direct copies of your compact discs (CDs) - meaning that they first create an image of a source disc, and then burn that image onto a blank CD. Some of these applications also support DVD copying.
These programs can help you with what you're intending to do:
CDBurnerXP is a disk writer application originally made for Windows XP. It remains freeware, with a simple tabbed interface from which the users can choose to burn data or audio on DVD, CD, HD-DVD, and Blu-Ray. Additionally users can ip, tag audio files, and create bootable images.
InfraRecorder is a small, open-source application that offers you access to basic disc burning tools. It comes with extremely low system requirements and can be easily used by anyone, regardless of their PC knowledge level. The program efficiently handles CDs, DVDs, and other optical disc types.
DeepBurner is a disc-burning program for Windows computers. The free version of the program allows you to carry out the most basic burning tasks. It allows you to burn data CDs and DVDs from scratch. It can also convert MP3 songs to CDA format and then burn those files to create an AudioCD file. The program can also create bootable CDs and DVDs.
ISO Recorder is a shell extension for Windows that allows for ISO recording. This applications adds several items to Windows's right click menu. Burn DVD/CD - Fliperac is a handy and easy to use software that allows you to burn, copy, write and erase your DVD / CD. When you insert media into your drive and start the software the first step is to press the Detect Media then do the other steps to burn your DVD / CD data. You still have the option to format the DVD / CD.
