The following applications let you create, maintain and use e-mail servers. All of them are free programs and they support creating and maintaining different types of mail servers, including the popular POP3 and SMTP ones.
These programs can help you with what you're intending to do:
ArGoSoft Mail Server .NET Freeware is a mail server for local domains and users. If you want to deliver mail outside of your server, to the Internet, allow relay option must be activated. If this option is enabled, you must specify DNS server, which will be used by your server to retrieve mail exchangers for destination domains.
Test Mail Server Tool is a full featured mail server (SMTP) emulation to test mail sending capabilities of your web or desktop application and preview mail messages. Mail sent to this tool is automatically stored and opened with your mail client.
ArGoSoft Mini Mail Server is a free application. Mini Mail Server is a perfect solution for travelers. Do you want to use your favorite email client when on the road, but are having problems, becuase connection providers block port 25? ArGoSoft Mini Mail Server will solve your problems.
PostCast Server completely replaces your ISP's SMTP server. By making just one change in your e-mail program, you are able to send messages directly from your computer to the recipient of every message you send. What must be changed is the address of the SMTP server or the Outgoing Mail Server, as specified in some e-mail programs.
This simple free program converts the Srt type subtitles files easily to the most comprehensive and complex Ssa format. Convert Srt To Ssa has a single window, and is very easy to understand, since it includes all you need to add any of the viewing options that this new format allows you to add to your subtitles.
YPOPs! 0.9.7.3 is a program that gives you POP3 and SMTP access to your Yahoo! Mail. As you know, Yahoo! offers free webmail for everyone. But you will need to pay a fee if you want to use your @yahoo.com account from your preferred email client (Outlook Express, Windows Live Mail, Thunderbird, Eudora, The Bat!, etc.) to receive or send messages, instead of the Yahoo! web page.
The Mock SMTP Server is a simple email server that really does nothing. Well, it does display each email message it receives in the application window, but that's it. This server/application is written to test applications that send email. The only configuration you may need to make is to allow the Mock SMTP Server access through your firewall program.
SMTPBeamer is a complete Internet and Intranet e-mail server featuring the SMTP, POP3 and HTTP protocol.Works with MIME and UUENCODE messages, even with various Western and Eastern European languages and any POP3 client like Outlook Express, Outlook , Eudora, or Netscape.
